We are looking for individuals who have a commitment to safety and a desire to make a positive difference in our community. As a Swim School Instructor, you will have the opportunity to work across our multi-venue programs and help children and adults learn the lifesaving skill of swimming.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical, which will take place at one of Council's chosen providers and will be conducted at the Council's expense.
Council is committed to ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all team members and other workers. Our COVIDSafe Workplace Policy requires all team members to be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccination status before commencing employment with Canterbury-Bankstown Council. Council defines ‘up-to-date’ for any team member over the age of 18, to include having had a third dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. Team members under the age of 18 are required to have two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine, and in order to comply with Council’s COVIDSafe Workplace Policy, will be required to receive the third dose by their 18th birthday. Medical exemptions are only available if you are unable to be vaccinated due to genuine medical contraindications and may be subject to further review. Applications for a medical exemption will be managed in accordance with Council’s COVIDSafe Workplace Policy.
